Is Investing.com cheaper than TradingView?

Investing.com is free to register for and carries advertising, while TradingView's cheapest paid plan, Essential, is $12.95 per month billed annually on its pricing page. Investing.com sells InvestingPro as an ad-free Pro plan and a higher Pro+ plan that unlocks premium screener filters, with Monthly, Yearly and 2 Years billing. Its plan prices load dynamically and show as placeholders in the static page, so no Pro or Pro+ price is published here and none can be compared. No refund or trial policy was found on its pricing, ad-free subscription, terms or screener pages. TradingView lists Plus at $29.95, Premium at $59.95 and Ultimate at $199.95 per month billed annually, a free Basic plan, and refunds within 14 days for annual and 7 days for monthly plans in its Terms of Service. All figures come from the vendors' own pages and were last checked in October 2026.

How does the Investing.com screener compare with TradingView's?

Investing.com offers a stock screener covering over 160,000 stocks, with 20+ predefined screens and custom screens built from filters such as P/E ratio, market cap and Fair Value Upside. Custom screens can be saved, shared through the URL and exported to CSV, but export requires narrowing results to fewer than 100 lines, and some filters need a Pro+ subscription. The screener does not account for pre-market and after-market data. Its economic calendar filters by country, event category and importance, and custom alerts can be set for specific events. TradingView lists stock, ETF, DEX and crypto screeners covering 150+ exchanges from 50+ countries and 500+ fundamental and technical fields, plus a Pine Screener that is checked only for the Premium and Ultimate plans. The vendors count filters and fields differently, so the numbers are not like-for-like. Both pages were last checked in October 2026.

Does Investing.com have backtesting or scripting?

Investing.com has no scripting language or backtesting feature that was found on its charts, screener, pricing or about pages. Its live charts are powered by TradingView and cover thousands of stocks, indices, commodities, currencies, ETFs, bonds and financial futures. InvestingPro adds an AI chart analysis button that generates entry and exit points, risk/reward and probabilities. TradingView itself lists Pine Script with a checkmark on all five plans, 110+ smart drawing tools and 400+ built-in indicators. Its backtesting rows show basic report metrics on all plans and advanced metrics, CSV trade export and XLSX report export from Essential up, while Deep Backtesting is checked only for Premium and Ultimate. The Essential plan allows 2 charts per tab and 5 indicators per chart. For anyone who needs to test rules on history, TradingView is the only one of the two with a listed feature. Pages were last checked in October 2026.

Is Investing.com data real-time?

Investing.com says its website data is not necessarily real-time or accurate, and its risk warning states that prices may come from market makers rather than exchanges and are indicative, not suitable for trading. It covers global stocks, commodities, crypto, indices, currencies, bonds, funds, ETFs, futures and options. Its own pages give different coverage figures: the screener cites over 160,000 stocks, while the InvestingPro page advertises 72,000+ stocks with 10 years of history and elsewhere 180,000+ instruments with 25+ years. TradingView charts show real-time US stock data from Cboe by default with no per-user fee, while CME Group data is free with a 10-minute delay or $9.95 per month for real-time for non-professional users. Its Help Center lists 70 crypto exchanges. The vendors' pages were last checked in October 2026, and the Investing.com figures are vendor claims.

Does Investing.com have an API?

Investing.com has no public data API that was found; its Webmaster Tools page offers embeddable widgets for crypto rates, the economic calendar, technical summary, calculators, a news feed and RSS, and directs advanced tool requests to an email address. The screener also exports CSV. The service offers free iPhone and Android apps, with 130 million app downloads claimed by the vendor, and is available in 33 languages and regional editions. TradingView is delivered on the web, as iOS and Android apps and as a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux with multi-monitor support. Its market data is licensed for display only, and automated trading and other non-display uses are prohibited. TradingView also lists trading through selected brokers, paper trading, chart trading and DOM trading on all five plans. Both vendors' pages were last checked in October 2026.

Who operates Investing.com and is it regulated?

Investing.com is operated by Fusion Media Limited, according to the copyright notice on its Terms page. Its Editorial page lists representation at Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and its About page lists offices in Nicosia, Madrid and Shenzhen. No governing law or jurisdiction clause was found, because the Terms PDF returned HTTP 403 and the HTML page holds only the risk disclosure. No FCA, CySEC, SEC or NFA registration number was found on its about, terms, risk warning, advertise or brokers pages. The site also warns that trading involves high risks, including losing all invested amounts. TradingView states that its service is provided by TradingView, Inc. and that its Terms are governed by the laws of New York, with EEA residents excluded from that section. These details come from the vendors' own pages and were last checked in October 2026.
